With well over 1,000 km of bridleways, byways and green lanes as well as extensive areas of beautiful and often remote limestone hills, valleys and moorland, the Yorkshire Dales is a haven for mountain bikers. It’s the perfect way to embark on a proper journey and really ‘get to grips’ with and explore an area – its variety of scenery, history, quaint communities, and of course ‘tea-shops’.

Located in the stunning limestone hills directly above our premises and the market town of Settle are two popular mountain bike venues – the Settle Loop and Mastiles Lane. The former offers a wonderful 10 mile circuit on great tracks and with great views, while Mastiles Lane is a very well maintained track through rugged and remote upland area connecting Malham Tarn with Wharfedale.

Yorkshire Dales Guides can offer single or multi-day packages, with highly experienced and qualified local instructors and bike rental (if required) from Settle’s very own bike shop ‘Three Peaks Cycles’.
